We were blessed with a wonderful summer of beach days, outings, picnics, and barbecues with family and friends and even the August Bank Holiday was a winner on the weather front! Now September is here, the mornings are cooler, evenings draw in, and harvest season begins — figs, blackberries, golden leaves, and the gentle glow of autumn bonfires—and of course rainy days. With it comes the return to work, school, and familiar routines (no doubt to the relief of many parents!).
As summer fades, so too do its bright turquoise, aquamarines, pearls, and fuchsias.
